Driving lessons with 500 horsepower
Today my son Zachary got his driver's permit and we went for our first real drive together with him in the driver's seat. Since the Suburban was blocked in the driveway by my wife's Father's car, we had no choice but to do Zach's maiden voyage behind the wheel of my 500 horsepower E63 AMG. OMG!Zach did great. I was completely relaxed in the passenger seat. He noticed it handled much better than Mom's beast. He's right.Zach is a great kid and I hope for all our sake he is lucky enough to get through high school (and life) without hurting anyone or himself as many teens do these days.

Fun in the sun today
My girls and I went to the beach today and had a great time. Fiona got up on a surfboard for the first time today. I was a proud Papa.Last Summer we enjoyed a lot of mid-week beach days by going right after work until sunset. Those are good memories. Time to start doing that again.
