Wax-free-surfing
Last weekend I pulled my surfboard out of the protective sock only to find out (again) my wax was completely melted into the sock and needless to say, not on the board. Well, I decided at that moment I was never going use wax again. I'm over it.
Today I commited to wax-free-surfing for the first time ever and I'm here to tell you it works. I got 3 rolls of waterproof non-skid rubber with sticky tape on one side. I cut out strips to fit (front pad). It worked great. Try it. Get over the wax thing. It's 2008. You'll be so glad you did. Here's a couple pics of my set-up.
